U7 lite range isnt good. I have 2.

For router prefer UCG Fiber. Much better value, processor and future proof. But yeah costly.

U7 lite is not on sale. 99$ is the normal price.
Its wifi 7 standard but doesnt have 6ghz antenna.
Its not bad, as long as youre okay with having 1 on every floor and range through 1 wall on 5ghz to have tx rate of around 400mbps. Beside the AP its higher. 5ghz doesnt even travel to next floor through concrete. lol Everyone praised it to I got it. Unfortunately performance is same unless you go to U7 xgs where they add more 5ghz antenna.

If you have a UK bank account or paypal you can get it for free using cashback sites. Although it takes like 3-4months to get the money back, they always payout. I’ve been using them for several years now and never paid a penny.

This one seems to be the latest https://www.topcashback.co.uk/private-internet-access . There’s another website called quidco which also runs these offers from time to time. Note that these websites don’t pay back the VAT so just select county as Jersey (which has 0 tax) so you’ll get all your money back. Also these are for new customers(for the vpn provider) only, to avoid this use a new email when you subscribe to the same service for the second time. Its not that big of a deal for me as I have a catchall email and usually get the subscription for 2-3 years.

I have like 4 different vpn subscriptions and I just end up using nord all the time lol.
