I am in Dilemma! Should I upgrade my Present PC to AMD AM4 or AM5 or Intel LGA 1700 chipsets? Budget is limited to 40k

Prices of upgraded AM5 parts:

AMD Ryzen 5 7600 -17k
MSI B650M Gaming Wifi -10k
Team group T-Create 32GB(16GBx2) 6000Mhz CL30 -8.5k
Logitech Pebble 2 Wireless Combo -2.5k
Patriot Viper VP4300 Lite 2TB -8k
Coolermaster MWE Bronze 750w V3 -6.4k

I think going with Ant Esports Box C Air is better for MFF build than Deepcool CH260 since it’s not readily available until now right?

Is used RTX3070 8GB better than getting brand new Arc B580 12GB from abroad for 1440p monitor of mine(LG 32GK650F) ?

For how much can I get any used RTX3070 8GB now?

Used 3070 is ok for 17-18k. It is faster than B580 in raw performance & has DLSS but lacks VRAM. Just reduce texture quality when needed.

am also hunting for a 3070ti,3080,3080ti
in the same boat as bssunilreddy cannot spend more than 35k
@@bssunilreddy u can try cex but those are only available in certain cities and cost 25-26k for 3070

Anybody tried to get used RTX 3070Ti, RX 7700XT from anywhere?

I am still in dilemma whether to go with used RTX3070Ti or RX 7700XT or new RX9060XT?

I want to get at least 60-70fps in my 1440p monitor.

This is the purpose.

My wirless Pebble 2 combo is working great for opening the bios as well. I thought I need a wired keeb and mouse.

I am in the talks with a Hyderabadi guy who has a 11 month old Sapphire Pure RX 7700XT 12GB selling for 30k. Is this a good price to be bought?
He isn’t decreasing the price though as he wants to go with RX 9070XT and wants the money though.

I am trying to save as much as possible by going with the cheapest used 1440p GPU right now. So don’t say to go with 9060XT as after calculating emi charges it’s coming to 38.5k for an Asrock RX 9060XT 16GB GPU.

Going with RX9060XT 16GB, Arctic Freezer 36, Ant eSports Box C Air and 3 ARGB fans.

Total comes to

Elixir Computers, Coimbatore is giving the following prices:

Asus Prime RX9060XT 16GB -39500,
Ant eSports Box C Air -3900,
Ant eSports Sciflow ARGB fan set -2200,
Thermal take Astria 200 -3200.
Total -48,800.

I am asking all parts for 48,000.

The price difference between computech and this store is almost 4k.

Is it justifiable to buy?

When I bought my AM5 combo from Elixir this March and I setup my PC without a hitch and everything is working great until now.

So was thinking to get the above parts although it’s 4k more than the cheapest prices.

Elixir has Thermaltake and Coolermaster CPU coolers only not Arctic or Deepcool CPU coolers in stock. So they can’t give me those coolers.

Again they don’t have any other brand RX9060XT other than Asus and they have Asrock Steel Legend RX7700XT 12GB for 33k.

All parts prices are for new sealed items only. No used parts.

Pricing seems okay. As for whether you should go for RX9060XT or RX 7700XT that depends on if you will be okay with a few games stuttering a bit unless you turn down some settings or if you go with 9060XT then lesser performance.

I’d say to go with 9060XT, more power efficient and new gen. You are essentially paying more for more VRAM capacity.

I am getting the below items for

GPU -35800,
ARGB 2 fans -890,
Cabinet -3500,
CPU Cooler -2850.
Total -43,040.

Does these prices sound good and believable? A private seller from a facebook group by name Horizon Enterprises is giving these prices.

Paytm is giving personal loan so 45k is enough right?
Please reply. Thanks.

Moneyview is also giving personal loan.
Bajaj Finserv isn’t giving any personal loan. So can’t take using this.

This seems high considering its just a single tower cooler.

I haven’t checked, but ag620 at 3k will likely be better perf and value than this.

And single tower coolers probably should be cheaper ( 1.6k-2k or so). AG400 for example should be enough.

Also, if you are concerned about high temps, then use CO and set temp limit. Test and check, for my 7800x3d, i can get it very slightly faster( basically same) with 79C temp limit instead of 89.

I hope you don’t get scammed buying from a seller on facebook, unless you are sure you will get the items don’t take their word for it.

Pricing is okay but like @Tracer_Bullet explained there are better options for cpu coolers. I was okay earlier because you were going with the Thermaltake Astria 200 which I could understand from a RGB aesthetic perspective but Arctic freezer isn’t it the extra bling when you are already cash-strapped.
BTW you should go for a cabinet that has fans included that way you save some money buying extra ones, also just 2 fans is not ideal. You want at least 3 fans with 2 fans as intake and 1 exhaust. A case with fans included usually have at least 3 fans so it will be perfect. Hard to find one that is a mini tower though.

u might get an emi option from computech store itself,

also be very very creful of those fb sellerss, please do admn method from very truisted groups only, if u r dealing with horizon grp owner then he is trusted, not sure about other sellers in his grp

If I sell my RX6600XT 8GB out of warranty MSI Mech2 GPU for say 12k then I can go with any cheapest RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GPU right?

Somebody who are using MSI B650M Gaming Wifi please check the CHK code printed on the side of the 24pin mobo header and reply. Its a 3 digit code. Thanks.

I was facing similar issue until I tried testing the system with a different RAM.

What is the good price to sell 3.5 years old MSI Mech2 RX6600XT 8GB GPU and 2 years old Galax Rev.3 Cabinet?
GPU has bill and box and Cabinet does not have bill but has box.

I ordered a new sealed Sapphire Pulse RX9060XT 16GB from at 38.5k, MSI Pro Mag M050A Cabinet and Arctic Freezer 36 from another TE member at 6.7k who is trading locally in Adyar, Chennai.

Now I need antennas for my wifi mobo.

Congratulations on becomming the Member of the month - Bssunilreddy - Aug Member of the Month

I’ am surprised you still havent upgraded as you started this topic in Feb.. or may be you are upgrading in parts.

I had a similar conundrum Upgrade from Current PC from 10th Gen to 14th Gen Intel - #15 by Dileep_Nagesh and what i figured is there is hardly any gain these days from upgrading and AI will take over soon.. so we will have to leave everything and run

So in short.. if you need then only upgrade to latest and greatest.. unless money is burning a hole in your pocket.

Anybody here selling 2 antennas for my MSI B650M Gaming Wifi mobo.

I require antennas since the single antenna I got with the mobo needs to be stuck on the cabinet and now since I am changing my cabinet to mATX tall cabby there won’t be any space between the cabby and my desk. That’s why.
