now you have to forget the incident, thank the almighty, and resolute for the new year that
you will keep everything of yours organised.
be regular in keeping things / work up todate.
help others be it kids / elderly / physically challenged to cross the roads / do some work / give seat in train or bus / teach kids in your society / appartment about traffic sense.
most importantly always follow the rules of traffic.

Helping the one who lost something due to our mistake is really a noble work, you are really a gentle guy. 
Last but not least TRY TO REDUCED extra weight, those unwanted pounds really makes us slow. (I’m too in same boat)

Damn I feel for you man, I have seen such horrible accidents in front of me, that I always think of them and then drive slow. I was a rough driver before I saw the accidents, once the accidents happen in front of your eyes, you start to get very careful in life.
