How come the images used to substantiate the claim seem to come across as old images, latest one being of 2024.
The pakistani side did claim that airspace was not breached during the strikes, then did they engage the jets in our airspace? It all seems wishy washy at the moment. The CNN article has already been called out fake by TOI(due to the use of the same image).

I really thought the discussion on TE at least would be thoughtful, informed and free from propaganda. There is no confirmation of any actual invasion from our forces into Pak, as in boots on the ground or ships/subs in their sea. Our pathetic news media are fooling the simpletons and we are proving ourselves to be simpletons by being misled and misinformed so easily.
Below is the only official confirmation we have of what happened last night.
I am very disappointed in everyone involved. This kind of behaviour destroys all credibility of Indian media as well as other Indian claims in the international community. Reminds me of that story of the boy who cried wolf. When the boy is actually right, no one is going to believe him.

I donât get why people take anyoneâs word on X as gospel and these whatsapp uncles just propagate it without fact checking, itâs just fake news and opinions and opinions of other peopleâs opinions, complete and utter waste of time. There are older videos being passed off as new, videos dubbed with some silly voiceover, footage from Gaza and I actually came across some Arma 3 footage being passed off as proof. The misinfo and lies are quite rampant on both sides and is almost like weâre living in a chapter from the book 1984 because most people actually have no idea whatâs actually happening.
I would like to believe that the news channels were probably faking these reports at the behest of our defense establishment to gauge the opponents response but again thatâs just speculation, currently itâs just information warfare because both sides are presenting conflicting reports.

This so called international media coverage made an absolute fool of itself during the Russia-Ukraine conflict and still does
Their coverage of Oct 7 & Israelâs war was so heavily one sided it was a total farce. Imagine asking the Taliban and then treating as gospel for their casualties when ISAF was there.
In this one I still see them parroting the Pak 5 or is it fewer now Indian jets downed line. Just look at Reuters.
The western media donât care. The standards you espoused do not exist any more or in reality never did but we were always given the impression they were

I was mainly talking about the mainstream news media. Whatsapp uncles and X degens are bound to act this way, and no one should take them seriously. But how can actual âjournalistsâ report such blatant lies? If they had actually reported the truth, the common people could discern and discredit those Whatsapp and X fake news. But instead, they are trying to one-up them.
Without a sincere fourth branch, the Press, that can verify and report credible information without any bias, any country is doomed. Even if you win a few skirmishes with the enemy, India cannot afford to live in a bubble where reality is secondary to the imaginary world the current media reports. It breaks all logic and will never allow us to actually succeed at anything since we have already âsucceededâ in our collective imagination.
