The combo has been duty as a NAS. Primary reason for buying this board was the ample amount of SATA ports that this board has and number of PCIex16 slots.
Full Disclosure:
The board is slightly bent. It was bent when I recieved it, but since the board worked, I decided to keep it. The plastic backplate which is responsible for holding stock cooler was cracked. I was using after market cooler so it was not a problem.
Why I am selling the combo:
The board has been nothing but trouble. It will hangup every 30 days or so, after power recycle it would get stuck on bios code C5 and invariably, one of the RAM will be bad. It has been to gigabyte service centre once for a paid repair, but it hasn’t solved the problem even though service centre said that they did replace some components.
