purchase date i dont remember ,just kept it as it was mandatory.
How much it cost for battery replacement also replace back glass?

Out side apple you wont get optimal battery backup as well as lose the waterproofing

You could manage using it without the repairs with a case on it and if you are light user
Cant promise but could give around 5 hours SOT. not enough for me i use heavy sometimes and use cellular
