just want a fair idea of how many of us are on dialup, cable or otherwise.

Dynamic global IP … an IP is assigned to me whenever I authenticate with sify servers. Of course my internal network IP is static (no DHCP).

I think i have a dynamic IP. No firewall on my system, but the Sify Server i connect to has one.
