I have fully confident on my people ( scientist) but I have zero confidence on my politicians.
That is why I am still not jumping from my bed yet on this news.

This is fodder for idiots . Only a PSU can make jet engines in India . Only a PSU can make chips below 10nm in India .
The initiative has to come from the GOI . No private player is going to invest a lakh crores to make a jet engine and supply defence and civilian forces .

The new engine, whose development is set to be completed in 10 years and production to start after that, will power the second tranche of the AMCA. The first set of AMCA will be equipped with the GE 414 engines.
