Hi all,
I’m putting up my black Keychron K8 Pro with white lighting for sale. I’ve used this sparingly and carefully. It has BT connectivity and has a toggle switch for switching from Windows/Android to Mac/iOS and can also be used in a wired mode. This one is QMK/ VIA compatible.
Similar to kewlboy9’s K8 Pro, I’ve upgraded the stock Keychron stabilizers to [Durock V2](’
Durock Clear Screw-In Stabilizers V2 - StacksKB’
)s which were hand lubed with [Krytox 205g0](’
). I’m using [Durock L4 (67g) linears](’
Durock L2/L3/L4/L7 Linear Switch (Pack of 10) - StacksKB’
) that were also lightly lubed and filmed with [Durock switch films](’
Durock Switch Films Foam 0.30mm (Pack of 120) - StacksKB’
). I think the mods itself would total to around 6K. The resulting typing experience with these switches is smooth and confident with a rich thocky sound signature. I’m primarily selling this since I’m now using a 65% keyboard as my commuter board.
What’s included:
-
Keychron K8 Pro with stock keycaps, the aforementioned switches and upgraded stabilizers
-
Stock Stabilizers
-
Original box and its contents
-
Keychron angled premium coiled aviator cable (in brand new condition, worth 1.7K)
Also putting up a set of sparingly used (twice) cherry profile [Tai-Ho Miami Keycaps](’
PBT Double Shot Keycap - Miami : Meckeys.com : Keycaps’
) which cost me 4.6K. If I remember correcltly, Tai-Ho is an old Taiwanese company that’s been in this game for quite a while. It’s PBT double shot and has shine through legends (though it’s best for north facing LEDs). It’s thick and has got a rough matte texture for resistance against finger oil buildup and for better grip. I’m selling this because I liked the Glorious Pastel set that I bought from here better. Granted, this set is a little out there in terms of design, but if you’re looking for the 80s Miami vibe, this one has it.
Asking price- 6K for the K8 Pro and 3K for the keycaps. Willing to let everything go for 8K.
Requesting prospective buyers to allow me a couple of days to arrange for shipping (at actuals). Thanks for looking and have a nice day!
