It’s PETG.
Interesting that M2 A+E causing this, have u tried PCIE to sata expansion card? I’m thinking of using one if not HBA.
This is the mega thread i have been looking for.
Exactly as I had plans to do with my device.
Thanks for making this thread.
@intruder16 do you suggest the 3d printed case as is or Any Modification you would suggest ? Also was it simply like just sending the stl files to @slippery and he just printed it. Or any mods needed for p330, m920x.
I have a i350 dual gig pcie card installed since that was the main purpose I got this machine. There is one more nvme slot that can also be used to expand sata ports but that would require modification to the outer panel as well.
I just shared the link to 3d print file to @slippery. The case is nicely designed (good tolerances) and no modification is needed. It was pretty straightforward.
EDIT: check out the comments on the link I shared for more info on compatibility. I tried only with P330, though m920q should be exactly same dimesions.
yes that i figured i’m looking for the brand and color of the petg filament
80C what kind of load are we talking about
windows 11
Thank you @intruder16 for the shout out.
Hi everyone, if anyone has any questions, they can reach out to me or check out my dedicated 3d printing thread here: 3D Printing Service (PAN India) - #24 by whizzkid

Not a mod! But I think this belongs here!
Just done with the first step of modding my M710q to add second M.2 NVME slot. Soldered all the required passive components.
And system boots
Now few things
- M.2 connector is still in transit so we wait for it arrive to finish the mod.
- I have no idea if the BIOS is different than before the mod. Stupid me forgot to check it. If anyone has M710q, please share the complete BIOS screenshots to compare.
- Yes, I’m using i3-7100 65w desktop CPU and it works. I haven’t done any (stress) testing as this particular PC is just lying around.
- First time soldering this many tiny components so please don’t judge
.
Impressive for the first timer
haha I meant to say soldering 0402 sized components is my first time but i have years of experience in soldering.
btw looking at OP, do you own/have those mini pc? if yes, then are those M700 or M710q?
Once u have the connector, goto a mobile repairing shop and get that connector connected, will take 50rs.
For a 1st timer with 0402, wouldn’t suggest risking that port as it could easily lead to missing traces.
Love the work done.
All these sound magic to me. I never ever soldered, never played with chips on a micro level. Just amazing that you guys are doing all these things and DIY. I regret skipping electronic labs now.
yes i have those and one of them is running proxmox right now since last 2 years
if any one of those is M710q, mind sharing the BIOS screeenshots?
i think its different
space left for the link
can do it on monday ?
those are M700 i recall a bios mod which will allow these machine to run coffee lake cpus
