Got this for 11K in 2024. Works perfectly. Was running Debian on it for a short while. Cleaned+Repasted. Upgraded the RAM to 16 Gigs via a Crucial 8GB DDR4 stick (bought last year from Amazon for ~1500INR). Also swapped out the HDD with a SSD (128GB). Do note that the SSD is actually in M.2 form factor inside a Sabrent 2.5" to a M.2 encloure for compatibility. I also added an Intel AC8265 Wireless NIC (bought from Robu for ~1600INR), giving it native WiFi 5 and BT 4.2.
I had to solder the second antenna to the wifi card because the connector came broken (See Pic 9.jpg). Typically these miniPC dual wifi+bt cards come with 2 antennas ie. one external and one internal. The one I bought only had both external… Sooo… I added the second external antenna via a 3D printed adapter block at the back. All in all, looks good and both WiFi + BT work perfectly (without the second antenna, BT was able to discover but not connect).
Finally, if you are wondering why the top is white, well I like the dual tone style in machines, so I tend to add white vinyl sheets on all black surfaces. It can be easily removed if you don’t want it.
Sold some similar machines a while back. You can check out that sale post here: Optiplex 7040 SFF and Lenovo Thinkcentre M93p Tiny
