Lg V20 4 / 64 With Twin Sabre Quad Dac For Music , 2k output ,Ir Sensor and Dual Sim

I actually rooted mine, it wasn’t that hard you can check lg v20 forums on reddit.

That was never the purpose of these phone , I kept 2 in spare to use as mainly music player due to quad dac and music tuning by B&W and they had IR remote which I utilised as universal remote at home and ofcourse battery was replaceable and calls and texts still worked, obv too laggy for gaming in even 2022 let alone now.

I think is sold one earlier to @@lepermessiah iirc and other one was sold recently on olx, hence asked @@puns to close thread.

It was probably my 2nd fab ever phone after xperia play ( the sliding gamepad keypad phone )

Xperia phones were so cool. I loved the Sony UI. They felt like PSPs that without any games trapped inside a phone chassis and I loved it.

I still have one, the phone had inbuilt psp emulator designed by sony bah gawd that’s where all my college time went now that I remember There was this game called bards tale newly released on itused to play it all day along with fifa and virtual tennis on the go.

But yeah all old phones had character, new ones are all just slabs with variation in screen camera and soc pretty much .Even htc made great phones back then , i had an htc salsa which was basically blackberry keyboard with touchscreen

So true. They had character in spades. The Salsa looks like fun.

My dad would buy the craziest of phones. He had an [HTC Touch](’

My uncle had gotten a couple of HTC Pros from the US, they were really cool too.

So Sony themselves allowed emulating PSP on that phone? Never knew this.

Looks like we should move this thread fto general discussion :(.

Funnily enough two companies that made phones with character htc and lg are both out of smartphone business now

Yeah all ps have very specific hardware chips with keys that’s why it’s still been difficult for proper ps3 emulator to still exist ( although couple are decent ) even with this much power available on computers , but they put that backward compatibility chip in xperia play to be able to play all ps2 and psp chips, was incredible
 Add to that the slider gamepad.

I think used it till 2018 rooting it multiple times adding virtual cache ram till i finally had to give up ugh as max it could run was android 4.4 .
