Comment [deejay]:

Is xpertvision brand sold here in India ?? i would love to know.

This looks like the most VFM (Value For Money) AGP card from nvidia series currently.
This cards performance at stock speeds is equal to a 9800 pro @ stock speeds. scores 2549 in 3dmark05 at stock speeds. The o/c potential of this card i leave it to the members imagination !!! but i am sure it would be more than a 9800 pro.
Price: it is quoted about Rs.2500 less than an AGP 6600 GT internationally.
hence the price should be around 8K here.
Thats about 60% the cost of an equivalent New 9800 pro card avialable here locally , which i read in one of the threads here is currently Rs.13,500 approx.

yes.. at that pricing it seems to be a bargain.. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: .. but then agian isnt this a limited edition? wonder how many cards make it up to Indian shores, if at all :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Well masky , i dunno about how many or by whom but one is certainly swimming upto indian shores …shortly. i am certain of that. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

K then , let us know how it OC’s,

By the time you find out how it OC’s it will be gone !

My suggestion, with the 7 series launching soon, the prices of all 6xxx card will drop, who knows you may get a 6800GT for 15k, a 6600GT for 8-9k ?

Nope afaik expertvision aint retailing here !

@Anish: Heheh ! deejay already has a sapphire x800xl

@deejay: Ahem how do u know one of the cards is coming to indian shores, unless you are getting one i.e.

MSI also has its “Diamond” and “Platinum” GF6600.The Diamond uses 2.2ns DDR3 and has 400/800 speeds and pricing is similar(about $30 lower than 6600gt).Much better than any ‘expertvision’ IMHO.

this is a little bit cheaper than the msi diamond . diamond sells for $300 SGD while this expertvision retails at $222 SGD

might be good for those planning on getting a 6200 or a regular 6600

@ bottle,

No it costs much less … :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
@ undertaker: the only difference between this and msi diamond is the core speed. this one is having 350 core w.r.t 400 mhz of the msi.

but there is a substantial difference in the pricing …!!!
and this one comes with 2 years mfgr warranty too.

how much are you getting it for ? someone said he got it for 222 in singapore so i mentioned it..

218 - 12 = 206.

Nice card… would be a huge hit if released in India at a decent price…
