I stay away from their mice because of Logi Options, none of them have onboard memory so you need the software. Now this is another reason to stay away. No matter how much shit Razer gets, at least you can remap things and then uninstall Synapse and you don’t need to create an account.
I didn’t even know mice could have on-board memory before your comment. What.
All Razer mice have on board memory, once you remap you can use it on any other device without needing to install anything. I think Keychron has it too. Logitech has it only for the G series mice.
I’ve been using their onboard memory manager instead of their logi software for my G604. Works great, once set and done. Much better than Razer Synapse.
Yeah the G series Logitech mice have it. I forgot to mention I was talking about the MX series only.
I love zowie mice, because they are e-sports focused company, and the people who play hardcore esports do not like to install unnecessary software.
So their mice is entirely driverless and plug and play, all mouse settings are on the mouse itself. Which helps players, because they don’t like redialing settings on different setups.
A big company like this having no software says a lot. The lack of software actually became one of their selling point.
Like clockwork… imagine millions of mice stopped working because of the software.
