Looking for an upgrade from i7 4790

All of the above mentioned most likely will be **good, **since these are considered to be reputable brands.
However I don’t know if one of them sucks at after sales services or one is really good at it so it’s also a good option to do research on their after sales service.
Going with a brand you have already used is a great option since it can bring a sense of **reliability. **

However speaking of their wattage output, the 550 watt nzxt will be fine, just barely.
Though the deepcool one seems to be a great option since it has 80 + gold and 10 years of warranty. Also with deepcool, you can upgrade to a wattage monsters like the 9070 xt or the 5070 ti.

Though always your call.

Yes I was also looking at the Deepcool one. It seemed like the best option out of all.

get a ssd asap !
samsung or western digital .

Why do you say that? I’ll add an nvme drive sometime down the line but I don’t think I’ll be losing that much on performance with the SSDs I have currently especially for my workloads.

I have both ssd and nvme. Samsung pro and wd blue. Respectively. Wd blue is considerably faster in general work load and it is apparent at least to me.

I’m confused. I mentioned the SSDs I am currently using and will include in the new build. Is there a problem with those?

^^ Quotes I got from a reputed seller in Nehru Place.
Price seems better than online? Especially on the processor and power supply.
All of this is going in Asus Prime AP201 case which I just got off from a fellow TE member.

I still need help with the Motherboard. I’ll lock in a few options and ask for final recommendations.

Try to find ASRock B650M PG Lightning WiFi for under 13k

Else get MSI B650M Gaming WIFI for 10k or MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi/Gigabyte B650M Gaming X AX for 15k.

Here is the final parts list, I did overshoot the budget, especially due to adding in the case and power supply. Also didn’t want to cheap out on the motherboard. Let me know if I’m overlooking or missing anything?

Since your motherboard, ram, case comes in black and white variants, you could also look for cable extensions for a more pleasing look.
Not necessary, but cable combs can really polish up the overall look.

Yes I’m wondering if I should get the white motherboard with some argb fans for white lighting inside the case. The black case with white inside might be something interesting. Not sure about it though, can’t find many examples

Thanks for the help guys, ended up with this configuration and prices
Although it started off as a small upgrade, I ended up replacing all parts of the system and increased the budget a bit.
