^^ You dont talk about Speakers with the Rated Input.
Nominal Input, is how much the Least input is required from the Amp/Deck, to let the speaker run.
The RMS is what you look at usually :).
And below that the speaker would not run? ![]()
No offense, but the terms are pretty self-explanatory. “Nominal input” or “Rated input” as the word implies is the optimal power at which the speaker presents its best/rated characteristics (in terms of impedance, frequency response, distortion, etc). That does not mean it will not run at power higher than that or lower than that .
