My PC is acting strange since yesterday evening. What to do?

Hello all,

My PC is acting strange since yesterday evening. What to do?

Is my PC under any hackers possession?
Did somebody took control of my PC by impersonating it?

Please help me.
Thanks.

Are all your files being renamed to .exe/shortcuts of 1kb each ?

No
It turns itself on and off by itself.

It does not let me do anything on the computer.

There are 4 hidden monitors and 3 hidden keyboards which can be seen when we are uninstalling drivers using DDU.

Even you it isn’t letting me go to DDU also.

Complete takeover by somebody who hates me.

Ok, turn off the pc and try system restore if you have one.

Else restart in safe mode and take it from their.

Most likely reason, you are unable to do anything is, the malware is busy renaming your files, hence making system unresponsive due to full cpu useage.

How to get into the PC via safe mode?

Yesterday somebody deleted my wifes personal files and my kids files right in front of our eyes.

It goes blank or dark and comes back and then the files are gone. Vanished.

No, the files most likely their, they are hidden, to make them appear deleted.

What the hell?

Shutdown immediately.

Then remove the ssd on which windows is installed. Use a linux os. Copy files. Format. Reinstall windows.

If you dont have linux, remove all internet, then copy files. Format. Reinstall

Once you safely copy data,

Find out what you installed

Whats the antivirus you are using? (dont be that guy who says windows defender is perfect)

Whats the logs saying

Use a proper dns manager like portmaster next time

Good thing they are not yet asking for a ransom. Turn off the internet, unplug, and follow the steps given by Kagz.

most likely some pirated game or software right off the internet without doing any preliminary checking with tools like virus tool

I did not install any pirated software. I only installed all original softwares.

Save your data first @bssunilreddy
Did you format the ssd?

Careful, this may be a ploy by your significant other to deter you from gaming.

Always physically disconnect internet the first time you notice something odd.

Log in to your router and check for unknown devices

First thing is to cut off internet access / network access to the PC then no one outside can control it.

It’s most likely a virus or malware. If you have another PC / Laptop down Norton Power eraser onto a USB

and see if you can run it has admin on your PC. Under NPE settings select Include root kit scan and then do a full system scan

If anything bad happens to anybody then they always think of me or my family while we don’t have any political influence in our family.

My wifes family has clout starting from District level to the PMO.

Even though somebody think we are the cause.
If we have such connections we would have used them to accumulate wealth but nobody invited us or cared for us until we went in 2023 and 2025 and met with YS Jagan.

My father’s or his brothers and brother in law’s all are devout followers of YSRCP.

Even there is a power which thinks we are the cause.

What to do?

Until and unless God reveals the clout within the TDP these things will continue to happen to me and to our family or that power should realise that we are not their enemies.

Run defender offline scan disconnect from the internet

Nothing is working for me.
No control over my PC so that at least I can download Linux and install it.

Can somebody help me please?

My PC is like a 2nd wife to me since my wife left me mentally.
I have become fond of it as I take care of it like it’s my baby.
Seeing it like this paining me a lot.

I recently re-installed my PC with Windows 11 25H2.

Since re-installing it’s like this.
