Need advice for buying a car

Hi guys, i hope everyone is doing fine.

I need some advice buying the car. Since the year is ending today there are many good offers going on cars. And i am getting approx 1,05,000 discount on SEPTEMBER made galanza e variant. So here is the issue, the dealer wants to bill the car today, on the payment of ₹ 50,000 and i have no idea how to do pdi and don’t want to take the chance. i have asked a few members of my family but no one is free today. The dealer has said that if we found any issue while PDI i can cancel the billing of the car and get a refund. So i want to know is it possible to cancel a billed car? Should i proceed with it? And one more thing we will be taking the delivery after 15th jan 2026. Is it ok to leave the car with them for this long. And no there are no pdi service providers in my area.

I am getting the car at ₹6,08,000 on road in himachal pradesh. Is this a good deal?

Yes the dealer will provide an email for this issue.

Thanks for reading

Dealer is creating urgency and I don’t know why.

After buying leaving your car anywhere with them is a bad idea.

Usually when you buy you take the car home right away.

31st dec billing date , hence they want year end sales. Tomorrow this car becomes last year stock.

My father bought 2024 model Baleno Zeta for 9,40,000 on March, 2025 by paying 1,50,000 and got the car immediately the next day after it got everything fitted like accessories and everything.

Normally car dealers won’t keep cars for 15 days or more after getting billed before the year ending.

Our car was billed by 1st March, 2025 but the model was manufactured on December, 2024.

Same car manufactured on March, 2025 was 10,40,000. So a reduction of 1 lac we got.

So should i proceed? Or ask for more discount?

Ask them to give me this in written and mail it to me from your dealership official email. So you have proof.

PDI generally is done by experts, you can’t do it yourself. There is so much to it and it also takes some time.

No matter what don’t pay any money except deposit before PDI. More than enough stories of dealers messing around after receiving largers sums.

Find another dealer, see what price they are offering, compare both..

Only one showroom is located in Una hp. And showrooms in other district are also owned by same company. Got the price down to 6lacs, but they are asking more for return to invoice. And if i buy from out of state then i have to pay 2% extra on ex-showroom.

Thanks

Return to invoice is always a good idea

Don’t buy you will get less resale value because your car is 2024 model .. doesn’t matter if you buy 2025 or 2026 but will still count as 2024
