Cpu:
If you will need a PC for work too, why go with the 9800x3d. You could go with something like the 7900x3d Or the 7959x3d. More cores and threads, more work done. But if you have your mind set on 9800x3d, you can also consider the 7800x3d. The difference between [7800x3d and 9800x3d](’

) isn’t night and day.
However there are also the [7900x, 7950x, 9900x and the 9950x](’

). They too give good productivity and gaming performance. So give em a chance too.
Additionally for 2k gaming, the 9700x Or the 7700x don’t sound too bad. But be sure to check benchmarks on those too.
What about Intel cpus? Bear with me for this one, but I[ntel cpus perform surprisingly well in terms of productivity while also beating all ryzen cpus (in productivity most of the time) and a decent bit in gaming](’

) too.
Gpu: For the budget the 4080 super or the 5080 are great, the 7900xtx could be considered but for productivity, maybe nvidia takes the lead here.
But yes these cards can be a bit overkill for 2k gaming.
Motherboard: I think it’s upto you, in general x670 Or possibly even b650 should be fine and aesthetics do come in play here ,so be sure to consider that too.
Ram : 6000 mhz is kinda the sweet spot with good cl ratings. 32 gb is fine (for gaming) , 64 gb great perhaps overkill, 128 gb ,consider your work doesn’t involve too much ram usage is probably overkill . Aesthetics also come here so be sure to check that too.
Case: It’s all about aesthetics here. But when you are getting like a 4080 super or a 5070 ti but getting a 40K CASE, that’s probably not too great. I think even cases from 3k- 15k can look good too. But always your call.
Psu : Depends on your power consumption of your pc that you’ll get.
Aio: All aesthetics ig, always your call.
Storage: maybe bump up that to like 2tb Or 4tb.
Hope this helps. And best of luck with your pc.
