Need comfortable gaming headphones

Had bad experience with boat immortal headphones, really heavy then they stopped working, used for maybe 1.5 years. Then due to lack of money bought some Zebronics gaming headphones for 800 in sale i think , and used them for 5-6 months ,they are soooo painful now, it feels like my ears will fall off, I also wear glasses so more pain as the are over the year. These both had the rubber earpads that were not soft

I bought Logitech G435, 5 years back , for my younger brother and they are the best headphones I ever bought, sooo comfortable, foam earpads, just World’s apart from mine. Well he uses it a lot so I am thinking to get something good for myself too.

Now I have money save for this, I want to change my headphones.

Budget - around 4k-5k , thinking for long term like 4-5 years.

Uses- Mainly gaming and everything else too

Connectivity - Can be wired or wireless, I will take the shot on wired if it is cheaper than wired version of same headphone,

I don’t really mind it being wired since I will only be using it with my pc.

Main factor - please let it be comfortable and not hurt my ears even after extensive use, I do use headphones a lot.

Please share your suggestions and feel free to share your feedbacks to suggestions and my conversations.

Up your budget a bit and go for Sennheisers. Keep an eye out for HD599 SE and the HD560s during the sale. They are open backs and very comfortable for long sessions. Most gaming headphones are crap.

You are at a difficult budget. Sub 5k, you can go for IEMs rather than headphones.

If you want to try something different, HIFIMAN is a great headphone (choose any good model for your budget). Else, Sennheiser wired models (From 560s) are good.

If you buy a cheaper headphone, you already know the downsides. I have wasted a lot of money on cheap audio, then I realised that I could have went for a good model and saved some money in the first place.

Less than 10k, IEMs will be much better. Diminishing returns start from 20-25k for IEMs.

Thanks for suggestions but I would prefer going for headphones. And also can’t increase budget.
