anyways, in my company they give out bonuses at Amazon pay gift cards, and i got one worth 10k inr,
how can i get this 10k into real dabloons in my account.
if its impossible, i wonder if i can make it so that some people wanna buy things, they can send me the dabloons and i just buy it for them ?
or anything…..honestly
I know its not the answer you want but why not keep the gift card as amazon pay balance? Don’t you order stuff from Amazon? Sure it might take a while to deplete but better than the hassle of trying to convert it.
you can sell amazon gift card I suppose. dont know if there are any restrictions on that. might have to take a haircut though but if you cant use amazon balance yourself, you might be ok with a haircut I guess.
just use this gift-card to pay electricity bills , mobile recharges or something like that you would pay otherwise with real-dabloons.

Yeah, lots of ways to use them. I use it for travelling (Uber, Metro recharges, etc.), food (Swiggy, Zomato), groceries (Instamart, Zepto, Blinkit, etc.), entertainment, and other ways.
Bills are probably the easiest (Electricity, water, broadband, gas).
Amazon pay balance is = real cash
Anyway amazon pay gift card is usually sold at 2.5% discount if urgent and 1.8% if not urgent.
For 10k you can get anywhere between 9820 to 9750
the problem is that i have redeemed the gift card
its just i dont use the amazon gift card. i wanna buy a refrigerator for parents and they shop locally. so having money in amazon just makes no sense for me. also we don’t have electricity bill because solar, instamart, zepto, etc dont exist here ( tier 3 town ) same goes for uber, metro, etc.
Guess you try and pay using it at places which accept it I guess. I have never used it anywhere except amazon but feels like it should be more widely accepted.
or make a post in grey zone if you are really need the money in cash and buy things for people using balance for discount. I think its highly inefficient and cumbersome approach though and you would probably have to offer decent discounts. I would still recommend to use it yourself. @Syzygy suggested many ways above and I am sure there would be more ways.
If you know someone who can pay using CC then you can use the gift card balance to pay for the CC bill.

If this isn’t a shopping gift card, then you can use it for your utility bills. If it is a shopping card, buy grocery
Pretty sure Amazon Pay Balance can’t be used to pay CC bills.
I did. It was small amount. It could be because I usually have money added to wallet. Which I also use for UPI payment when I face bank/network issue.
I need to check again to confirm.
I have never got this option to use my apay gv balance to pay cc bills. I can pay all other bills using gv balance except the cc bills. If we add money to apay and we have full kyc then we can use that balance for upi / cc bills but still not the apay gv balance is what i have noticed
This is what might have happened as I stated in my comment. I know cashback and other balance can’t be used for UPI. Didn’t know it’s applicable for CC bill as well.
