Need Help with broken Sony WH-1000XM5

Hi everyone,
I have a Sony WH-1000XM5 with a broken right hinge. It snapped recently, and right now I’ve used a gas pipe tightener as a temporary fix, but it’s obviously not ideal and the fit is still pretty awkward.
Has anyone had success with repairing or replacing the right hinge themselves? If so, which replacement parts did you use and did you follow any specific guides? I’m also open to sending it for repair if DIY isn’t worth it. Any tips, walkthroughs, or recommendations for good replacement parts would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

This is the guide and they also sell the replacement part for it

Here is the video guide for the same.

I saw this video, but it looks too difficult to DIY. Was just wondering if someone in the forum knows a good headphone repair guy or some store where i can get these repaired. Thanks

maybe check with sony.

While doing some research online, i saw people getting quoted exorbitant prices for the repair by Sony and I will more likely buy a new pair of headphone with that money.
