heh, saw that.
A thread at guru3d has much better pics than that on toms.
Anyway, cards keep gettings bigger and bigger for nvidia ![]()
Hope that final card is not this big. This is supposed to be a old engineering sample which has gone through some brutal times. They noticed burns on PCB and Fan connector due to heat ![]()
I had posted a similar thread earlier with better pics:
didnt se about it @ guru3d…please post the link here ![]()
Very good pics by AT.Seems the pics posted on Guru3d were correct after all.Hopefully Ati will finally go under…LOL
Surely monopoly isnt so desirable… Infact tougher the competition is better for us. as it will lead to price wars.
Will u be able to afford this baby !! ??? NOOOO. it’ll take a few more moths for it to come to India. !!!

Just out of curiosity, Funky had mentioned this in Ace’s earlier G70 thread:
Yep.
But with better pics its clear that thats not heatpipe as it looked in the earlier pic.
There are 3 seperate sections unlike just 2 on current boards. And those two lines are the edge of core heatsink.
I am still hope this is not the final cooler.
Soo much efficiency will be lost with this cooler.
dont think those are gaps.. could just be transparent plastic
Maybe this is for just a demo.
Otherwise where would card makers put their logo ? ![]()
Well right now the cooling is surely not working, as I had posted earlier the chips were burnt in one of the pics… 150 watts power what do you expect…
wow…i guess i still have to stick with my old Gforce 4
