NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Is 2x Faster Than 4080 At $999, RTX 5070 Ti 2x Faster Than 4070 Ti At $769, RTX 5070 Faster Than 4090 For $549

Basically this… I ended up buying a 4070ti Super (new with 4 year warranty) i was getting at 71k and called it a day.. it has 16GB VRAM as well and if i have to settle for 16, might as well save my money.. sure, it’s 25% slower than a 5080 @ 4k.. but i will manage… meanwhile will save up for the eventual 5080ti which should have actually been the 5080 and see where we land with that thing.. i actually went to the market to get a 5080 today but i JUST couldn’t justify pulling the trigger..

[HEADING=2]Nvidia RTX Blackwell release day live: where to buy the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 for the picosecond they’re in stock (In US & UK)[/HEADING]
[HEADING=1]I don’t mean to be negative, but stock is tight and demand is high…[/HEADING]

Today is the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 launch day, with both Nvidia’s first RTX Blackwell graphics cards going on sale today at 6am PT (2pm UK). But be warned, the likelihood of actually getting hold of one today is pretty damned slim. Most of the noises from manufacturers and retailers has been about the slight stock levels that they’re going to have come launch day.

MSI has stated that it has [received a limited supply of chips from Nvidia](’

MSI says that the supply of its RTX 5090 cards will be very tight, due to a limited supply of GPUs from Nvidia | PC Gamer

) itself (despite having listings for huge numbers of different cards) and one of the biggest UK retailers, [Overclockers, has noted that it only has a “single digit” number](’

Overclockers UK say they have a 'single digit' number of Nvidia's RTX 5090 cards a week before launch | PC Gamer

) of RTX 5090 cards for launch.

If the volume of available cards last more than ten minutes past go time I will be very surprised. Very surprised.

I guess that’s why there are people already camped outside of Micro Centers around the US, and you can bet folk are already lining up outside of their local Best Buy stores, too. I just wonder how many of those people are the ones who have already listed [RTX 5090 cards for exorbitant prices on Ebay](’

https://www.pcgamer.com/hardware/graphics-cards/scalpers-are-already-trying-to-rip-off-gamers-by-flipping-rtx-5090-graphics-cards-they-dont-actually-have-for-up-to-usd7-000/

). Those damned scalpers are going to be out in force for the RTX 50-series launch, you can be sure.

In US 5080 is going for $1000 while 5090 is going for $2000 for FE versions. AIB versions might be higher.

It costs about the same as 4090, you can literally buy a 4090 for 1.8-1.9L right now :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:what the hell are they thinking!

Best decision either this or go for a used 4080 right now the 5080 at the least will be sold for around 1.3-1.4L seeing the pricing right now and it is literally the same as 4080.

I was getting a 4080 super in 90k .. but it would’ve arrived in a week and i couldn’t wait that long so i said F it and just got this.. it’ll do for now, should still be getting atleast 60fps in the games i mostly play at 4k and in the few games that WILL struggle no doubt, i’m planning on picking up a secondary 1440p display, i’ll just play on that xD

I’ll wait to see how the 5070Ti is, if that’s equally crap, I’ll just pick up a used 4070Ti Super/4080.

It’s pretty much confirmed that it will be about 5-10% slower than the 4080.

This is what the 5070 card should have been and the 5070 should have been the 5060

Fantastic pricing -

Good choice! But where did you buy it from? and which brand offers 4 years? I thought they offered 3 except Zotac’s 3+2.

Please tell the vendor for this as well.

Gigabyte, on specific models.

Just saw some prices on reddit
Galax RTX5080 is 143k while Asus ROG Strix is 173k. I think these are from fb sellers.

Gigabyte offers 4 years, Got it from Nehru Place… I know some people who can arrange deals .. few and far between… I got lucky.. these usually go for 82k.. I got an 11k discount..
Also I just got quoted 135k for a Gigabyte Windforce 5080 which is an MSRP card… Should be 107k..

It most probably won’t sell for anything close to msrp for about a year until the super/Ti models come out
