I have a question about the non sense thing going about stocks. like we are expecting the vaccines and all next year and at the same time we are expecting the stocks to improved after march or so. even if that happens, isn’t it’s kinda late for buying a new gpu as we are already near launch of new generation of gpu and as the stock issue will be improving, it will be a good time for a gpu. so should we wait for next gen and skip the current gen. I am so confused o_O
next gen will be few years from now. the cycle will continue so get this gen early next year whenever prices and availability is sorted

Right when i was planning to build a good gaming PC , may be almost after 10+ years , This SH^T happens.. Also if i (My brother in US) dont get the GPU and CPU by Jan end , i have to drop the entire PC building plan..
And as @@princeoo7 said , by March , april .. it will be too late since newer GPU`s might be around the corner. Even if AMD doesnt launch anything , Nvidia will surely do to strengthen their position.
Am i the only one or other also feel 3080 is much better VFM than amd offering and even nvidia offering (provided you can get them in MSRP U.S Price) ?

I am more into FE edition as of now but if can’t buy it, then spending 74k seems usless as 3080ti will be around 88k for fe more for aib for 10 gb more vram and some perfromance. but if compared to 3080 FE price point. its super Stupid to buy and thing more than 74k. I bough 2070 Super this jan and already feel like stupid seing the uplift. this is really a sad story that NVIDIA Dont have stock for FE and AiB are 200 to 300 USD more expensive 
also I have heard that TSMC is removing the 3% discount for Nvidia, Amd and Apple so that pricing will also fall on our shoulder. right now dam confused.
AMD has changed the game. they are on road to deliever 2nd gen RT Core next year which will be a uplift so nvidia will also have to Improve seing what AMD just did. plus we have INTEL as a new contender. Things are interesting at the point but stupid to see where once upon a time 1080ti was around 60k we are playing twice the amount for the same.
Logistic will improve. no idea on normal lifes.
@@princeoo7 My thoughts are same as well. I wont get a item which is overpriced just because its good. Few AIB cards are better slightly , but may be 50-100$ is the max i can spend extra for these AIB cards more than FE card. Beyond that there is no point in buying them , unless its watercooled right away like some cards.
As for next gen , since AMD also wants to have $$$$ in thier pockets , i dont see next gen cards to be any cheaper , if not costly only. AMD clearly understood this and their CPU`s are little costly than Intel.
Also 3090 seems exclusive and worth only for pure 4K gaming.
Only thing going for 6000 Series is the RAM it has. But i think DLSS , RT , streaming suite are few things were Nvidia edges out. Probably my next card will be a AMD.. who knows.
But at the current juncture , i would get 3080 FE / AIB or 6800XT if i get my hands on them..

NVIDIA’s consumer/workstation GPUs are made in samsung fabs not tsmc so the price increase doesn’t matter. Also they just bought a whole load more of wafers of samsung 8nm so I expect yields to get better and shortages to reduce in a few months.
Also don’t expect 20gb cards anytime soon as gddr6x is a huge bottleneck right now. More than GPU dies, procurement of that is a bigger issue.

yes back order plus so many cancel and pending order due to quality control..initailly only two colours were sold and all black was always sold out within seconds.

Should I buy for 3xxx series cards when 2xxx series used cards are getting so cheap now
If RTX 3060TI or greater cards are within your budget, you should go with them else go with RTX 2XXX series if you cannot wait.
Rptech have got the 3080 FE models in stock now. they are sharing the form as per the email Id. people trying to use same form and paying gets 2% cut and refund and their order is cancelled.

Let’s see if they actually implement that or not. They have been very lax in literally giving the card to anyone who paid and not following the que.
Infact they had mentioned that people who bought the 3070 at 55k on their website will have their orders canceled. Yet they did not cancel them and shipped the card to those who bought and even refunded the extra amount. A lot of people have been exploiting their lax attitude because of this.
I never got a 3070 form because of all this crap and gave up and bought a 300ti AIB which are priced ok I would say as I got tired of waiting.
