Why don’t you use BORGCHAT. You can send files from within BORGchAT.
^^ Yup i’d also recommend Borgchat.
I managed to run Borgchat with Wine in Linux but no NIC detected and i didn’t investigate further till my ISP activates my linux configuration for pppoe dialer from his side lazy ISP 
I requested a Linux version for Borgchat. Lets wait and see Borgchat rules !
