rainbow six vegas rocks ! finished the game using the x360 controller. nothing like playing it the way it was originally meant to be. playing with the keyboard and mouse is easy and doesnt feel right for this game. especially since pulling the trigger on the controller is more fun that clicking a button.

Some from Chronicles of Riddick EFBB.. playing 2nd time with my Logitech dual action cordless rumble game controller!! Awesome game.., storyline is very intense!!

lol. i remember when i wanted to download the chronicles of riddick demo that came out years ago. our ISP had a no-porn system between 6am to 11 pm and if you tried you’d get a message saying "unethical browsing - your isp has disabled this feature please try after 11 pm "
i got the same message when i searched for "chronicles of ridDICK "

resident evil 4 / biohazard 4 for PC. game looks really sad. seems a bad ps2 port. its not the gamecube version that looks way better.

Oddly enough, the overall palette is very different. The PS2 version has a slightly more colourful palette. The fog seems to be lacking in the PC version. There’s obviously no shading on the dog or Leon. Anything in the distance is a jaggy mess. The only defense for the PC version here is that you see the details of Leon’s model a lot better.

The lack of shading and lighting is even more apparent here. Leon’s hair looks very different though, and quite similar to how it is in the GC version. Which makes me believe that certain models and textures from the GC version might be used in the PC version afterall.

Either the fog is really far away in the PC version here or there’s no fog whatsoever. Either the PS2 version has trees which are blurred away by the fog, or the PC version has a lot more trees and foilage. Leon’s hair definitely uses a different texture (that, or PS2’s shading makes the hair looks very different). Leon’s jacket seems to be identical.

Closeup of the same villager (only difference is that he has a hat on the PC screenshot). The villager clearly has a much more detailed model and texture, probably implemented from the GC version.

Note that isn’t in the same scene, just the camera angle and Leon’s pose is the same. The textures of Leon’s jacket and pants are definitely better in the PC shot here, but it could be just due to the PS2 using a mipmap texture.

Well, not impressive at all, think they got this out just for the heck of it.

ya its demo. plays really really smooth maxxed out. but dunno dont like it a lot. very arcadish feel to it. so found it boring.

well room was kinda dark so pic quality aint that great as its taken from k750.

unreal 3 engine surely does look amazing.

well for those who dint get it. the game is gears of war.
