PS & ImageReady Problem: GIF Generation & Animation

Hi all,

i am very very very new to PS and ImageReady CS.
But, reading a tutorial by Renegade, i decided to venture out a bit :face_with_tongue:

But, the problem i am facing is, i cant locate the GIF Generation tool in PS.
And, i cannot locate the Animation Pallette.

Any help in this will be appreciated.

PS: I know this may be a very very very very noobish question…but i am a noob in gfx designing :face_with_tongue: . Do forgive me for this stupid question and please spare some time to answer it :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

There’s nothing like GIF Generation tool in PhotoShop CS.
What you can do is create an image there with multiple layers and transfer it
to ImageReady CS for animation.

Animation can be done with ImageReady CS
If the animation window is not visible, check Window > Animation

But, refer to the link…what does Renegade there mean by GIF Generator software…he means some other software??? or some plug-in.

Yep, he means various GIF Animation software are available on net. Those softwares let you make an animated image by putting various still images in sequence. One such software is Easy GIF animator. More abt it [RANK=“http://www.blumentals.net/egifan/”]here[/RANK].
