I have used XCape v1 and XCited straight out of Clip+. Considering that joker did not mention anything about needing amplification in his review, I’d say that you won’t need an amp for either IEM.

Doesn’t give you any right to disrespect everybody who thinks differently about S4 either. I did not say S4 was ‘trash’ just not ‘good enough’ - huge difference. In my book, S4 is ranked 44/63, M2 is ranked 38/63. So, it’s still not the crap de la crap. It’s my opinion and you are free to keep yours.
Usually, in the small audio zone community, we discuss, not engage in war of words. Not all of us share the same opinion - BF1983 and I have polar opposite opinions of RE1, his favorite IEM for a long time. We do “fight” for fun over RE1 to this day, but we both mutually respect the other’s taste, preferences and choices. That’s true of many people here. We don’t do name calling over an IEM.
You don’t need to “fix” my boundary and call it policing just because we can’t agree on S4. Each forum member here has a free will and free ears to decide on my recommendations or yours. Just leave it to them - it’s their money and their right to decide on whom to listen to. Instead of hurling accusations, why not engage in something positive - like coming up with a review of S4 and state what you like in them? Instead of getting offended by opposite opinions, try stating your side objectively.
