I got a transcend 512Mb DDR400 for 3,100 last week.
I think hynix would be 300-400 cheaper and OEM would be even cheaper.

RAM effective has gone down after VAT. So it will be littl cheap but not 50%. Also its already at 3100 in mumbai(for transcend) so its not gona fall another 50% for sure. It may go to something like 2800-2900.
Graphic cards effective is gone down marginally, processor will get more expensive, mobo prices will go down marginally.
Processor is the biggest IT looser. it had 16% foreign exchange duty and 0% customs. Not there will be 8% vat on that… Shish…
By the way Hynix is really cheap, and guys here this…The new original Hynix chips that are comming out are extremely good overclocker. Close to what BH-5 gives. I am gona take risk and go buy 512MB single stick, see how it overclocks and then g et another one for my P4 machine.

That is most probably OEM Hynix. They say last m onth prices came from 3200 to 2800. Thats was for Hynix OEM and Transcend OEM which was at 3000. Transcend Pack came down from 3700 to 3300 here and this week it fell slightly due to VAT.
It will fall little more. Buy grab that Hynix, with good voltage its overclocking well. my friend bough 1 chip yesterday and damn thing is doing 260Mhz 1:1…

I got on 29th march so vat had nothing to do .. but if what you say is true we can expect it to fall further 
mumbai guys have to pay 4% extra octri too, so some stuff will be 100-200 bucks expensive here. Last week Hynix was 2750-2800. Then on friday it was 2600. I will check prices tomorrow again. Now there should not be any octri and no sales tax either.
Ram and all other stuff either imported or made in and around Maharshtra is cheaper in Mumbai.
Monitors are cheaper in Delhi by 200-300 bcoz most of the factories(Samsung,LG) are in Noida.

Sp far npithub.com prices are the same on the 4th i.e 2day.Coz when there is such a drastic fall,usually one of the distributors announces new prices to attract business.

strange that yesterday i asked aptex computers and i think they agreed that pricehad fell and offered 2400 for simmtronics and today they know nothing about it offereing 3800 for kingston.

damn…i bought a 256MB Zion ram module last week of march…for 1750/-
if i knew prices will drop this much, i cud have waited 2 more weeks and got
a 512MB module instead. 
Same here got one hynix 256mb for 1650 in mid-march and that I thought that was very cheap compared to the 2200 quote I got back in late Dec!
But the queston remains:WHAT ARE THE RAM PRICES IN DELHI!!!
