I confidently went to the theatre knowing that the guy who made PREY wouldn’t disappoint and he didn’t (kind of)
it’s more sentimental than the PREY but keeps itself afloat with stunning action sequences and world building.
Elle fanning carried this movie on her back (even though it’s the other way around in the movie)
only drawbacks being it was kind of cliched at multiple points and the 3D was just a gimmick and didn’t really add to the experience and downgraded it by making it look dull.
definitely waiting for the next predator movie from this guy!

Dhurandhar 9/10. Made for theatres. Amazing BGM. And never thought I would say this but Akshaye Khanna was the main highlight of the movie.

A strong dog-and-cop dynamic, novel narrative, or chic thriller invention…
Being an A24 film, it caught my attention but I was a bit skeptical because I’m not big on romcoms. However I was pleasantly surprised after I watched it last week.
Basically it revolves around the idea of afterlife, and how and with whom you spend it. So this lady Joan, is supposed to choose between her husband whom she spent most of her life with, or her first husband who died in war shortly after their wedding.
Imagining myself in her situation on-screen.. it was pretty conflicting. Apart from the nerve-wrecking situation, I liked the comedy and how charming it was overall. Loved the supporting characters too. Wholesome movie, and glad I was proved wrong.
