+1 for Samsung UI, waiting for the day when Samsung seriously start launching low/midrange phone with good SoC

S20FE 5G was a great flagship killer phone for its time but alas we have Samsung fab SD or Exynos chips in newer FE phones, so no point in considering those. Samsung is still selling a lot of budget phones even with Exynos, so I doubt it will change. I hope Nothing launches more phones. The pricing bracket of CMF Phone 1 & NP 2a are good. Just need 2 phones above that IMO, one around 35-40k & another at 50-55k. Time will tell how much Nothing can scale up. I hope they don’t go the Xiaomi route & launch too many phones at overlapping price points.

Is it possible to add a microsd card to a phone that only has dual sim tray using this thing?

Or is it only to add a second sim to a hybrid tray because the hybrid slot is taken up by microsd card

Only works for hybrid slot. If the phone doesnt have connections to read the micro sd, nothing can work.

These adaptors were common during the early Xiaomi days.

Oppo / Vivo also has good brand and light weight/good camera handsets, Software Updates is only issue with them.

cmf has quality issue. in telegram channel they were reporting about display issue around punch hole, camera lens getting scratched very easily, and some other if you have service center near you then maybe you can replace easily in case of defect

I used a phone from work for time being and I need to return that in a month. So I am back in shopping for the phone.

I almost bought CMF Nothing Phone 1, but backed out because it does not have dual sim and expandable storage. It has hybrid slot. I think same issue with Phone 2a Pro. Also, it has really bad speakers.

During the sale, I was getting great deal on Moto Edge 64 Fusion (19,999 INR), but again same dual sim issue.

I want dual sim, do not matter if one of them is esim and also expandable storage.

Don’t get a moto/ samsung talking with experience , you can go for second hand devices also , that will provide the best price to performance

Dedicated memory card slot is a rarity now-a-days, there are phones in this budget where they have removed the support for memory card slot. These two have dedicated slot, but you have better budget.

Esim is available but only present in high end models, I think. It has it’s pros like thief can’t throw away the sim easily but also cons like if you ever accidentally reset the phone you have to get a physical sim for 50 rupees and then convert to esim again, atleast that’s the process for airtel.

a friend deleted her sim recently(i helped convert it to esim) and she had to visit the store.
