@@puns @@logistopath Is this even allowed? Selling devices which were purchased on EMI for the sole purpose to just resell it. Also isn’t this risky for the second buyer? What if EMI is cancelled by the original owner after the sale?

don’t worry emi will be foreclosed next month✌ and as far as im concerned its safe, cuz it has been set to auto debit from Salary Account

Just curious what happens to the phone or second buyer if emi isnt paid?

nothing just the bank will hit the cibil score so hard, that will become a pain in the a*s of the original buyer

Some devices when purchased on EMI have a device admin application installed by the financer. This application will lock you out of the device if EMI is not paid.
All financers probably don’t use it but some do.

the device was sealed pack and yes im pretty sure that’s not in this case✌ and also if they first buyer or original buyer wont pay , bank will destroy his cibil score

and yes this thing is true but in case of iPhones or costly phones only!

i have purchased a iPhone 14pro max , croma ipro guy entered his password to activate the device when i asked he said this admin app will be automatically uninstalled after the emi repayments that is of 6months only

I heard recently that Bajaj is notorious for this!

Not trying to ruin your thread but this is something a potential buyer might want to consider.

@mods shouldn’t this thread be in Dealer’s Paradise since OP is a reseller?
