I’m at a loss. Although I’ve known Anmol just over 6 months ago, he was as genuine and large hearted a person you could hope to find.
To a select few of us on the WA groups, we got to know him quite well. On Sunday last I was chatting with him being my usual slapstick self and I couldn’t tell there was anything amiss.
Such is life. I will always remember him for helping me get on to the Ubiquiti bandwagon and going out of his way to help me a transition issue configuring it for my ISP. He was a great guy. Gone too soon.
May his soul RIP. It’s truly a big loss and it’s still hard to come to terms with.
This came as a shock and I was in disbelief. I didn’t personally interact with Anmol but his posts always got my attention, be it his post with the Ubiquiti DMP and stuff, helping people bypass ISPs grasp on their routers, providing a great alternative for buying tech stuff from the US and more. In a very short amount of time he became a valued voice in the community. His dedication to help others and contribution to the community will always be remembered.
I’m not the one with words but they’re coming now. I first spoke to Anmol last year when he needed a US based CC. Not for himself, but for the crowd on TE who wanted to import stuff at zero forex. We became good friends upon realising we’re both from the same city. We even planned to meet several times, but couldn’t; something I truly regret. Later when I got promoted at work, he was the first person I shared it with. Most recently, I also represented his case with Delhi custom officers, when one of the parcel was seized.
The Anmol I knew was one of the most kind and selfless person I’ve met. He went out of his way to help others. So much so, that I used to advise against it, usually during the times it was against his own interests. But he would not listen. We have spoken so much over the phone that I can’t get his voice out of my head.
Om Shanti. I had a conversation with him just a few days ago about stocks. He was very active in the stock market. It’s truly shocking and heartbreaking.
Didn’t see this mentioned before but based on conversion in TE WhatsApp group and one share market group I am part of, seems he commited suicide.
It wasn’t due to any health complication.
Oh man! Very less people I have interacted here over the years and still not able to understand how did this even happen, with having such a positive vibe, his helpfull nature. I have had done few deals with him and shared a few topics to talk about. Never felt this coming. Condolences to the family and everyone who feel his absence. He’ll be missed for sure. Om Shanti..
