Up for sale are two of my handycams,1xMini DVR Kit along with a Samsung 64GB Memory Card
Bought both of them from a friend of mine who was clearing out his closet about 2 years ago , but since hardly used them because of the infamous tape conversion problems
Found many a tutorials which guided me towards getting a Mini DVR recorder which can be mounted onto the camera to record the analog footage digitally onto an SD Card!
Looks like I found a solution so why am I selling them ?
I lost the passion to pursue to this project down the line and as I recieved the MiniDVR just today evening , I immediately played around with it and found that passion lost sadly!

Both Purchased in October 2024 as the Sony Batteries which I had chose to give up charge

Incase you do decide to buy these cameras , Will give the cameras an alcohol wipe before shipping so that the cameras look fresh!
Curious, how much storage does a minute of recording consume?
Even if the video captured is not HD I assume it will have more clarity and detail than entry level smartphones ya? Specs say 28x optics zoom which is nice! What about stabilization?
Not too sure about the storage , the 64gb card showed approx 17 hours of recording time on the “HD” setting and 38 hours on the “VGA” setting using the MiniDVR
As for the stabilization , Handycams are well known to have really good inbody stabilization especially considering these were used to shoot videos in Skateparks in the US
Id be more than inclined to shoot some footage to showcase the use of these cameras in different situations.
Footage Drop for one of the cameras , left the switch on while playing around the previous night and had the battery literally on 1% charge sadly when I started recording

Yes , recorded on the Mini DVR
The handycam records through the mini dvr , the mini dvr has 3 recording options : VGA(640x480) , D1(720x480) and HD(1280x720)
In my experience , with the VGA option on the DVR you get the most authentic experience
while recording in HD gives me a wide footage (Literally just stretches the footage)
I’m curious about what other cameras you can procure as you mention in the OP. Can you give some examples? I’m interested in old semi-digital/digital photography and video cameras.
They do , but there’s a workaround this which records using an Audio Video cable from the camera to a device known as a MiniDVR , posted the footage recorded using the device in the replies above
