RG35XX - Replacement Battery Unit?

Its a First batch RG35XX back from Nov 2022.
Works Fine, and I’ve used it sparingly so battery life isn’t really a concern. But i’ve come to know that the later versions have a bigger battery like 2800 mAh that’s better than the 2100 mAh cell inside this. (Trivia - currently using MinUI, but have a spare GarlicOS Sd card)

I’d appreciate if someone more experienced can tell me how and where can i purchase a cell that works for this unit preferably a 2800 mAh unit ? (also is 3500 mAh is a possibility ? - https://www.reddit.com/r/RG35XX/comments/10ehy6y/battery_upgrade_for_rg35xx/)

Tried reddit but posts lead me to dead ends with aliexpress links that lead nowhere.

Can you open it up and show the battery?

Take it to local electronic market repair shops. They’ll replace with similarly rated battery. Pricing could be an issue as this is a cheap device. If under 500 then it could work. You can see similar sis assembly video and find battery details and ask on call in advance.

A bit unsure to open it just yet, but these should be compatible battery packs, taken from the reddit thread mentioned in the post

Hmm.. good idea. I can share them the pics of the battery packs and maybe ask them to source it for me.

Holy Heck Guys.

is this website legit ? It seems like it might work..but the numbers are confusing, can putting such a battery damage the device ?

Edit - saw an alternate too, more expensive, and the exact digits don’t match - 3.7V 3500mAH Lipo Rechargeable Battery Model KP-606070 buy online at Best Price and Quality in India - ElectroPi.in

Physical Size, conenctor, voltage must match. Capacity can be a bit more or less. If you go offline it’s much easier to check in person once you get dimensions of og battery.
