Yes, if you install a full linux ie Debian or ArchLinux, you can then install pyLoad. With the stock Seagate firmware only Transmission can be installed.

Accessing the http://goflex_home opens no login popup.
It redirects to http://goflex_home/homebase/signin?i=somenumber
Also in my n/w shares if i have a fat32formatted pendrive hooked to the usb port of the goflex its shown as empty in the
“External Storage” but when i connect the pendrive to mobo usb port its shows the contents.
Some help please.

For some reason the Seagate automatic updates leave the WebUI inaccessible sometimes.
@tommy_vercetti – The GoFlex Net is totally different, it uses the Pogoplug software which is completely different from the GoFlex Home

bro! you accidentally sent me in stock condition (sudo does not give me access). i know how to go about it, its easy for me. . before i do anything i just want to show you through team viewer. please reply to PMs yaar.
It is the stock firmware along with the torrent client. I had mentioned it earlier.
The command is sudo -E -s not just sudo. And stock firmware does give root access. Transmission is not enabled through the inbuilt conf files etc etc.
