Currently in the process of making a sim rig build with 2x4s and a leather car seat from a fiat linea with the rails intact. Planning on also attaching wheels to the base of the rig for easy relocation but pedal placement is very tough to work out with the wheels in place since I cannot use the ground to stabilize them. Also have 2x8s I plan to screw as a base for the pedals to screw into but drilling straight holes is very tough will attach pics of completed base and wheel mount soon the black parts on the wood are dirt and there is still a subframe mount attached to the seat I cannot remove without an angle grinder. I got the other 3 by drilling out the rivets holding the mounting brackets in place and after that I’m gonna put the seat on support beams to raise its height and then properly set the wheel mount frame’s height
