Its a e.key slot. I haven’t open it yet
E key is not compatible with M keyed drives (the NVMe drives). You can grab an A/E to M key adapter, provided it fits, and use it (although bandwidth will be limited by the slot speeds, which is generally x1 lane)
e key → Not directly physically capable of M.2 NVME / M.2 SATA
Get an adapter, then get a ssd
Intel Optane P5800x - 400gb
Price : Rs. 69,690 (ship & insurance extra)
Manufacturer LINK
400GB Solid State Drive, made up of Pure CACHE memory, works at the speed of light, costs somewhat similar to gold (as per this drive’s actual weight)
Posting on behalf of a TE friend, just to check up if anybody is interested in this bad boy.
Tell your friend, this is still a gen 4.0 x4 drive with speeds to match almost any high end gen 4 drive.
However, endurance is on different level (100 full writes per day for 5 years) not even close to any other drive.
But yeah, this can’t plug into any m.2 slot so overall unless someone already has an array of these drives and wants another one for cold spare, nobody is buying this.
Will also be providing a M.2 NVME Adapter for this ssd, for plugging into regular pc
But yea, unless someone is just too curious to make use of it OR has too much of money, i dont think either that someone would buy it

@TechnologyHell Whats the warranty on these ?
Saw its 1 month.
Few points to keep in mind across all SSD deals :
- Crystal will be shared to you before dispatch
IN CASE NOT DONE, it’s your part to share the crystal of the device once delivered.
Serial numbers need to be noted and stored up on my database, and due to dropshipping, suppliers often miss out some units to share the crystal disk info.
Either crystal be shared before dispatch
OR
Buyer to share crystal within 7days from the date of delivery - If shared info and the delivered drive differ in model / SN, share update with me asap.
Diff unit (different SN) but same model from ordered → Acceptable, just inform me about the SN of the unit delivered to you. - OEM units from Samsung, Hynix, Micron - these are different from retail units, hence you can’t just visit their software and update their firmwares.
Be careful not to tinker with the device, else the drive failure is yours. - FIRMWARE UPDATES ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED
Happened with a buyer recently, drive was working well, he did a FW update, and boom, the drive no longer works at all. - Samsung retail units are official and original - but officially discarded by the brand.
So they will not work with Samsung’s Magician (unless you get lucky!)
SSDs dont usually die, they are robust against all use cases and environments.
However, few units tend to not work on specific systems (happened with many SATA ssd buyers, who got replacements done successfully)
Testing warranty is just to ensure that when you receive the unit, it doesn’t just die in a day or two.
That’s all, once received, run a crystal disk mark just to ensure the drive is stable under max load conditions.
Most of the units I sell, are either pullouts (decently used), or brand new with zero writes on them, and it’s gonna be too painful to run diskmarks on each unit before dispatch.
I’d always suggest to do a full write after buying a drive from TE, this way any errors and true capacity can be known.
It would be ideal if this can be done from the sellers side as 1/2/4 tb written data won’t matter much if we get a fake drive.
also, now onwards, drive complete test will be performed on sourced unit sales.
No more sales as “Zero Write Units” - entire drive will be written and re-written before disptach.
Supplier → me (does entire in depth testing) → buyer
Will be mentioned for such cases, that the drive is passing through 2 layer testing, so pay today, and it reaches you after 2 weeks from now.
Inhand holding stock, these remain constant with 1month warranty - inhand stock is mostly unused OEM supply - with zero chances for defects (seal is opened by me)
Samsung NVMEs and SATAs - optional extended warranty upto 3 months will be provided (at extra charges)
SSD sales halted till issues are resolved.
