Subscription/membership/patron related

Hey there guys,
I just had a quick question related to membership rules and how to attain all the features provided by this forum especially the marketplace.

As I can check, I am not allowed to comment in marketplace postings, nor I am able to PM any member.

Q1. As far as I can remember, there was a way to get all these privileges by completing a few requirements like posting, commenting, reacting. Is this method still viable? If so, there was a particular post regarding this, which I can’t seem to find it now. Can anyone please link it.

Q2. And with the switch to discourse if that method is reduced and I have to opt for subscription/membership/patron route, are there different kinds of subscriptions? Will anyone of the offered subscriptions provide me all the benefits? Is the subscription auto-recurring, if so how can I avoid that?

Regarding recurring subscription, check this:

Currently that is not supported. Working on it very soon. Should be able to enable it by month end.

I noticed there is no mention of PM(private messages) anywhere but I think they would be included.

Anyways as I have the stage I would like to congratulate @Renegade and in addition the whole TE team for a wonderful migration to a beautiful platform.

I have been going through the recent threads and have seen Renegade acting like a workhorse and being supportive to all the members and I appreciate that behavior.

Good work fellas, I bet there is more to come and it’s going to get better.

Market access and PM access go together. When you get market access, you will also get the other.
