Suggest an Android tool for browsing local intranet media

Not an android solution, but should be pretty similar, once you have your drive shared via router, as long as it’s assigned local IP doesn’t change, on iPad you can add the drive once, and it will be saved, now your old folks will be only 2-3 taps (at max) away after the iPad is unlocked to access the photos and video.
Unlocked iPad → open files app → open shared drive.

Now I suppose the last opened directory will be saved, so the next time they open the files app, they will always be in the shared drive folder.

Just have the iPad connected to the same Wifi network, and you are done.

You can try on android tablet, but iPad is much better for old folks, large beautiful color screen with ultra simplistic UI, you can remove most of the stuff from the home screen and clean it even more, they will love it, might even start using it for other purposes.

I have an ipad but the solution should be universal esp. considering android phones. I will try this on ipad.
