How do you decide whether the old guitar has any faults ? Does it have a higher than normal action ? How long does it stay in tune?
All these will have a direct effect on your playing. For a first timer it is highly not recommended to go for a used guitar. It’s practically equivalent of buying a CPU/GPU which was probably oc’ed. I’ve been playing on & off for 2 years and i would not dare to go for a used one; rest is up to you.
For me personally it’s not a big difference between 4k to 6.5k. If you are sure you are going to play then by all means go for it.Ask em for a free bag , get some picks i prefer thinner one’s , they are dirt cheap … go for different thickness.
On a side note ;i stopped playing was because of classes.. it was a sh*t tutor. So i just lost all hope. Had a good friend walk me through some basics. In the end play the songs you want to play and pick things from there…
