Didn’t want to open a new thread for this. This is a sticky thread which has H/W recommendations links which are 3-4 yrs old and the last reply was on Apr3,08.
This is just a waste of a sticky. Plz try to revive the thread or remove the sticky status.

So, you mean, after enabling cache, pages will load within a pico second ! 
But things have improved a bit now. Or am i feeling that way after reading this thread

Maybe there was something messed up at the host’s end..
It’s definitely faster. But it’s strange b’cos admins say that nothing extra has been done about it. Low internet traffic? Faster server h/w or may be God’s grace. Does n’t matter as long as site response is good.

^ Yeah it’s become slow now .Especially posting replies is taking lot of time and at times it directly shows me the page saying " You need to wait for 30 seconds until next post " .
I’m noticing the forums becoming slower recently as well…time for a server upgrade ?
