This recommendations are posted for som other sections it seems, but it wud be good if u r able to put one for hardware..as its a section which all have doubts on frequently..
like a buyer guide for configs ? imo the entire hardware section can be considered as a buyer guide 
will see if i can do something like the guide i did at ta , though i ll need some of the hardware ppl to help out as well
