Welcome to the TechEnclave Market! This section is designed to facilitate smooth and hassle-free transactions between members. Please take the time to read and understand these rules and guidelines to ensure a safe trading experience for everyone.
General Rules for Using the Market Section

Product Possession & Photos:
- You must have the item in your possession when posting the sale.
- Include at least two clear photos of the product with a handwritten note showing your TechEnclave username and the current date.
- Game discs must have photos showing the disc inside the box. Photos of just the box are not sufficient.

Proxy Sales:
- Selling for banned members is prohibited.
- If selling for someone else, you are fully responsible for the transaction.

Pricing:
- Clearly state a fixed price. Auction or bidding-style sales are not allowed.
- Use the thread to update prices or provide new information. Price “bumps” are allowed once every 48 hours.

Section Purpose:
- Use the Market section only for sales. Discussions belong in technical forums. Off-topic posts will be removed.

Prohibited Items:
- Illegal items, adult content, drugs, alcohol, or smoking-related items are banned.
- OEM software can only be sold if bundled with its original hardware.
- Sealed, box-packed articles where the actual item on sale is not visible in the pictures. This is to prevent fraud.

Trader Ratings:
- Use the iTrader system to check trading history and leave feedback after a sale.

Disclaimer:
- TechEnclave is not liable for any trades. Ensure smooth transactions between both parties.

Agreement to Rules:
- Posting in the Market section implies agreement to these rules. Violations may result in thread deletion, warnings, or infractions.

Listing Requirements:
- Use the provided template for each product.
- Include recent photos (not older than 3 days) with your username and date handwritten on a note.
- Clearly state the reason for sale.
- For threads active for more than 2 months, update photos with the current date.

Infractions & Deletions:
- Violations may result in 5 infraction points valid for 7 days. Accumulating 10 active points will result in an automatic ban.
- Threads missing required photos or failing to follow the template will be deleted without notification.

Restrictions:
- No external links to other forums or marketplaces.
- Feedback-only threads after sales are not allowed.
- Bulk sales require reseller membership
Packaging and Shipping Guidelines
Follow these tips to ensure your items reach buyers safely:

Electronics (Motherboards, GPUs, CPUs, etc.):
- Use bubble wrap to secure the item inside its box.
- Add extra padding (e.g., thermocol) inside and outside the box to prevent movement.

Hard Drives (HDDs/SSDs):
- Place the drive in a small box or wrap it tightly with thermocol.
- Use bubble wrap for an additional layer of protection.

Cabinets:
- Cover acrylic or fragile panels with thick thermocol sheets.
- Secure all sides of the cabinet with padding to avoid damage during transit.

Labeling:
- Attach a printed shipping label with both sender and recipient contact details.
- Seal the label with transparent tape to protect it from water damage.
Best Practices for Safe Transactions

- Confirm the terms of the deal before making or accepting payment.

Validate Buyer/Seller Identity:
- For new members, prioritize face-to-face transactions if possible.

Keep Records:
- Save all emails, personal messages, and payment receipts until the transaction is complete.

- If you suspect fraudulent activity, contact moderators immediately.
