I agree ff is cool in many ways but opera is certainly the best even now as far as cache management goes. A simple test is that on very slow connection, if you try to open a site, its usually opera that opens it rather than ff. Opera has got a speed advantage and combine that with grt password mnager and M@,is certainly among the best out there.
Yep, the latest version of Opera i.e, v8 is compatible with GMail.
besides, GMail will come out with an HTML version of webmail
so that all browsers will be able to access it
I agree the default installation takes so much screen space, but once u turn off /remove all unwanted, it’s just wonderfull. It also adjusts the webpage inside the display area, so that u never hve to use the horizontal scroll bar again.
Use the ver 8 beta. There’s nothing wrong with it.

Opera is the leanest, once you’re done with it.
This is my setup, the menu bar (file, edit, view, etc.) is disabled as well since it’s not needed much (enabled in the shot by mistake).
