Are you sure the keys are removable, does not say anything in the product description.

No it’s not hotswap. I wonder how long it will be before his partner or neighbor gets annoyed by the clickies :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: ead:

Ol’ feller CM Real Power 850W gets a fan upgrade. Replaced a bad fan with an Arctic P14 Silent

does this void the warranty ?

It does but the PSU is a decade old so doesnt matter

Is that a direct fit or soldering is involved ? I see the fan pin outside ?

The old fan has a 2 pin connector, I’ll get a new connector of that type and size, solder it onto the arctic fan. Its not 100% done yet. The grill will need some mods to fit too

is it not risky to use old psu’s ? because once psu is out of warranty if psu dies and takes along other components with it manufacturer wont reimburse.

This is a quality PSU and it was the flagship of its time. So I have faith that it will work properly for whatever is the lifetime of this power supply.

This is anyways my spare PSU, I might use it to bring my Athlon64 939 PC back up.

FC sale @22k
