Great looking setup. Congrats.

Do share the specs?

Good colour choice. Congrats ! :tada:

Projector : optoma cinemax D2

Calibrations a bi*ch. OOTB colors were not to my liking. Looking to upgrade to the LG HU915 which IMO have better colors and grading but that’s subjective.

Receiver : Denon x3600h.

Speaker setup : trimmed down to 5.1.2

  1. Front L and R - ELAC vertex 3 VJ 63 M
  2. Center - ELAC Muro V41S - ideally should be the vertex but the size obstructs the projection.
  3. Left and right surround - ELAC Muro again these were part of the original setup when they were doing the FL and FR duties.
  4. Sub - SVS PB 1000
  5. Height speakers - Cambridge audio Minx min 22.

Media/player(s)

  1. Zidoo Z30 pro - like it because of the HDD support. Was using a z10 pro before. Have a separate PC hosting my remux files. Was using plex but the z30 pro interface works out just fine so sticking to it. I know i can do better but at this point not much time to fiddle around.
  2. Apple TV 4K
  3. PS5 for the occasional SP games and for the rare Blu ray 4k playback. Was playing Diablo 4 on this setup until BF6 had to come along and i went back to the good old PC.
  4. Got an old synology 2 bay NAS as well for the remuxes and the FLACs.

This is the back. The floorstanders are my old Sonodyne Sonus 3165s. These will go to the man cave once the renovations have finished.

Thank you. Setup provided.

@Spinaltap

Nice to see a fellow Zidoo user. Still have Zidoo X10 at my parents house. It is true that their UI is good. Even I had changed it to Kodi but reverted. My parents are way too comfortable using this rather than TV OS. Plus their remote has exhaustive features. But their current portfolio is a massive investment for me. I am yet to return back home. But this along with many setups I have seen are inspiring.

@dOuBtFiRe same here. Glad to see a fellow HT enthusiast. The zidoo interface is quite simple and does what it claims to do i.e. movie playback. But definitely not a good option for streaming. I use the apple TV for streaming.

There is however an unkept promise to @FortiCore that i will someday use the media center i have built using the N100 mobo + CPU which i have got from him to host a jellyfin server. I currently use it just as a file server running on ubuntu.

Let me know if you’re selling the casio one :upside_down_face:

No plans to sell. You can buy it online here

Even Flipkart is having good watch deals. But buy with caution, it’s Flipkart/scamkart. Had bought 1 watch (as a gift) and had a good experience that was 2months ago.

And this went for 21k 3 days ago citizen-nh9130-auto .
But got this in Sept for the same 34k from just in time offline store for dad.

I don’t think so. he doesn’t have DDR5 RAM in there :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Got the Infamous Nvidia RTX 5080 (Zotac Solid core)
AMD RX 9070XT was on my mind but last minute, said F’ IT, Get the Nvidia.
Got from amazon due to payment method. else would have got it locally with a OC version for less price. Complicated thing, don’t ask.

Why 5080 and not 5070Ti? I had 2070 super so wanted to jump in series for fun but only $300 ore over 5070it and have some extra bells and wishes so where we are.

GTX 760 > RTX 2070 Super > RX 6800XT + RTX 3060ti > RTX 5080 + RTX 3060ti.

Currently Gaming on 2k but 4k in future so one more reason for 5080.

Not happy with Delivery type. they just slapped the order slip on the box and send it like that. Card not damage but box got bang for sure. Clearly visible in the corners.

Somehow it’s smaller than my Sapphire RX 6800 XT. Length and breath wise but is heaver to hold

I messed up the gpu support location :smiling_face_with_tear: I think correct location is before zotac logo.

NO ROPs missing, feeling lucky

Just yesterday, after 2 days started with undervolt + overclocking. I think I did pretty good. have 4 profile. not sure if its truly undervolted or not. curve is straight from 925mV. But I can see peak voltage sucked up around 332watts while doing 3d Mark. heavens benchmark its have 290watts. Stability for this 2400mhz + memory clock still needs to be tested in game which I will do at night.

most stable profile I have gives 8900 score, with 2000mhz + (17000mhz) memory, clocks at 3000mhz, power 105+ but above gives best score of 9557 with speed way

If I see power consumption above 280watts in constant, would drop the power to 90% or try to tune it more. this is all done based open random videos from YouTube so not that experienced base oc. lets see.

About CPU bottleneck, not sure by how much! but of course you will get better FPS on a AM5 + DDR5 setup.

Next upgrade, I pray shall only be when GTA 6 Launch for PC and I can max it out in terms of FPS :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Make sure you register your Zotac GPU within 28 days of purchase in order to enjoy the extended warranty. The email address is technical@zotac.com.

Silence for my friend for whom I’m assembling the PC.
The RAM has MRP Rs. 16375/- . I wonder if RAM comes under the consumer protection act and can complaint to NCH regarding this..
