Exactly
and it doesnāt even stay fit. Had to hold it up with tape
Well I think.. Just a thought.. Maybe the fans are supposed to be mounted behind the filter with the filter in between the fan and the case.
Even that, is a stupid design because cleaning would be a nightmare.
Be careful while cleaning it, make sure the cloth is absolutely clean. The screen on my alienware AW3425DW is very susceptible to scratches.
Iām acting like a Typical Indian Dad with his new Maruti 800. Iām not even removing the screen film that came with it.
Quite a lot of user have complained about the scratches with even gentle cleaning and donāt you dare use a torch to check themā¦
Would a brush be better than a cloth?
I should have been clearer. I meant in real food.
No the lancool 207 design itself is like that. It comes with the front and bottom fans installed. The filter is an additional accessory purchased separately. The filter does have tabs to fit in the case but they are loose.
My house help was cleaning the oled monitor/TVs with the same cloth he uses for dusting
Imagine my horror. Heās since been instructed to not touch any screen in the house ![]()
Iāve been using this now, pretty good. AEC Ultra Premium Microfiber Cleaning Cloth for Mobile Screen, Camera Lenses, Tablets, Monitors etc Pack Of 6 : Amazon.in: Electronics
It is a known issue with QD OLEDs, and new gen 5 QD OLED displays should have better resistance to scratches.
Original title of the linked video was āIām increasing my size and surface hardnessā
I simply use the cloth that came with the monitor, its black microfiber cloth. And clean it dry or with minimal filtered water ( say a drop on the cloth, not directly). I dont think i have had any scratching due to cleaning, not sure if aw34 is different that way.
The scratching on my model happened at the time of peel off. Its was a known issue but i thought that they would have fixed it by the time i bought it (aw32).
Irritating, I thought of returning it, but there was no issue during usage, in my case its only visible if i put light on the monitor which i never do in actual usage. So I let it go, to avoid hassle, and they might give a refurbished model instead.
Very happy with it so far after more than a year.
do the mountains through this look better than the real thing?
100% better.
My secondary PC: a decent chunk of parts are from my first PC build in April 2017
Pentium G4560 + RX 470 4GB combo from April 2017 (Rs 4500 online purchase and Rs 19000 offline purchase in 2017)
Zebronics H110 M.2 motherboard bought brand new from local shop somewhere between late 2024-early 2025 for roughly 3k to 3.2k brand new, as old Gigabyte H110 had one failed ram slot + no HDMI port to run monitor with integrated graphics (RX 470 was dead for years before I got it repaired so needed board with HDMI to run semi modern monitor) + there was no M.2 slot on old board
2x8GB DDR4 2400 MHz, one stick bought for roughly Rs 3800 brand new in 2017 from mdcomputers website, one bought for 1k including shipping in 2025 second hand on TE.
1.5 TB SSD (960GB SATA + 512GB Gen3 NVMe), both brand new, paid total Rs 5196 combined for both.
Rs 1699 4fan cabinet, Rs 1551 550watt Antec PSU, both bought brand new in 2025.
Still runs GTA 5 Legacy at 1440p High settings 50-70 fps no problem.
Canāt believe that the second hand value of just the RAM+storage in this is more than double the second hand value of the rest of the build combined at the current state of the market, truly crazy times we are living in.
