Do you own one?
Recently got a new 10G switch, TP-Link SX-1008. It’s unmanaged, but passes through VLAN tags fine, has 8 full 10/2.5/1G Ethernet ports. Using it as a dumb L2 switch, while VLAN tagging/untagging, PoE is handled by my existing 1G PoE switch, SG-2210MP. (I did see someone selling a noctua modded version of the same switch in the forum for 20k, would’ve grabbed it if I hadn’t already bought the same thing, I paid 25k for mine, so kinda stings ).
Here’s iperf3 results between my server (using an intel x540 nic) and my desktop (using the onboard Aquantia/Marvell 10G nic). Server running truenas scale 25.04, desktop on windows 11.
Got full 10G in the first try, did not have to mess around with MTU and jumbo frames.
